You'll be responsible for administering urinalysis and breathalyzers, handling housekeeping duties, and managing client interactions in a professional, empathetic manner. The position requires flexibility, the ability to make independent decisions, and effective communication skills, all while maintaining a calm and professional approach under pressure.

The ideal candidate will have a cleared Background Study through MN DHS and reliable transportation. While experience with Microsoft 365, First Aid/CPR, and Narcan Training are preferred, they are not required. This role involves 8-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, so flexibility is essential. The Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist at Momentum Center's Substance Use Disorder Residential Treatment Program involves a range of responsibilities including case management, monitoring daily behavioral programs, managing client interactions, and ensuring client participation. The role also includes administering urinalysis and breathalyzers, general housekeeping, and handling multiple priorities. The specialist must demonstrate effective written and verbal communication, manage emotions, stress, and work both independently and as part of a team, with the flexibility to adapt to changing situations and the ability to solve problems or seek assistance when necessary.

To qualify candidates need a cleared Background Study through MN DHS, reliable transportation, and a Certificate in Peer Recovery Support. Preferred qualifications include experience with Microsoft 365, First Aid/CPR Certification, and Narcan Training. The position involves 8-hour shifts that may include evenings, holidays, nights, and weekends, and requires sensitivity to client needs and cultural competence.

The Substance Use Disorder Paraprofessional at Momentum Center's 3.1 Substance Use Disorder Residential Treatment Program is a direct care employee. This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including monitoring daily behavioral management programs, ensuring client participation, administering urinalysis and breathalyzers, and handling general housekeeping. Candidates must be adept at managing multiple priorities, making independent decisions, and maintaining effective communication, both written and verbal. The position demands flexibility, empathy, and the ability to work efficiently both alone and in team settings, often in high-pressure or distracting environments.

Essential qualifications include a cleared Background Study through MN DHS, reliable transportation, and a timely work presence. While experience with Microsoft 365, First Aid/CPR Certification, and Narcan Training are advantageous, they are not mandatory. The role's schedule involves 8-hour shifts that may occur in the evenings, holidays, nights, or weekends, requiring the ability to adapt to varying client needs and cultural competencies.
